Overview and Objectives:
- Determine net force acting on an object in one-dimension.
- Model the forces acting on an object by creating free body diagrams.
- Analyze the relationship of force, mass, and acceleration based on Newton’s Second Law.
- Use text with data for the purpose of supporting the claim that Newton’s second law of motion describes the mathematical relationship among the net force on a macroscopic object, its mass, and its acceleration.
